title: "pols subscription"
description: "Show, start or cancel your org's monthly subscription"
---

<!-- Generated by scripts/reference.mjs from the pols CLI's --help. Do not edit; run `npm run reference:sync`. -->

Without a subcommand, show your org's subscription and its latest
payments.

The subscription costs EUR 20 a month excl. VAT (EUR 23.40 with 17%
Luxembourg VAT), and includes EUR 25 of usage each month (a subscription credit lot, see pols balance). What a
month leaves unused carries over into the next month, up to one month's
worth. Usage beyond it is taken from prepaid credit (pols topup); when both
run out, running sandboxes stop. Stopped and standby sandboxes keep their
disks, which keep costing. Each paid month gets an invoice (pols invoices).
An org that buys without VAT (an EU business whose VAT ID VIES confirmed)
pays EUR 20. Owners and admins only, once the org's billing
details are saved on https://my.pols.so/billing.

## Usage

pols subscription [command]
```
## Examples
```sh
pols subscription

```
## Subcommands
| Command | Description |
| --- | --- |
| [`pols subscription cancel`](#pols-subscription-cancel) | Cancel the subscription at the end of the month paid for |
| [`pols subscription payment-method`](#pols-subscription-payment-method) | Set up a new card for the subscription, on Mollie's checkout |
| [`pols subscription start`](#pols-subscription-start) | Start the subscription and print the link to pay its first month |
## Flags
```text
-h, --help   help for subscription
```
## pols subscription cancel
Cancel the subscription: nothing more is charged, and it runs until the end
of the month paid for. Its credit stays until it expires. To go on after it
ends, start a new one. You and your org's owners get an email confirming
the cancellation.
### Usage
```text
pols subscription cancel [flags]
```
### Flags
```text
-h, --help   help for cancel
```
## pols subscription payment-method
Print the link to set up a new card on Mollie's checkout, for EUR 0.00.
Once Mollie confirms it, the subscription is charged on that card from then
on. The command waits for it for `--wait`.
### Usage
```text
pols subscription payment-method [flags]
```
### Flags
```text
-h, --help            help for payment-method
    --wait duration how long to wait; 0 prints the link and returns (default 30m0s)
```
## pols subscription start
Start the subscription and print the link to pay its first month on
Mollie's checkout. That payment also lets Mollie charge the same card or
account each month from then on. Open the link in a browser and pay; once
Mollie confirms it, the subscription is active and your org gets the
month's credit. The command waits for the payment for `--wait` and fails
unless it is paid.
A consumer (or a business whose VAT ID VIES has not confirmed) may withdraw
from the subscription within 14 days (https://pols.so/withdrawal/; terms of
service: https://pols.so/terms/), and orders only with `--withdrawal-consent`,
which states: "I expressly request that pols.so start the subscription now, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. I understand that if I withdraw, I pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until then, which is the share of the month's price matching the share of the month's usage I used, and that I lose my right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed."
### Usage
```text
pols subscription start [flags]
```
### Flags
```text
-h, --help                 help for start
    --wait duration how long to wait for the payment; 0 prints the link and returns (default 30m0s)
    --withdrawal-consent as a consumer, request that pols.so start now and acknowledge that if you withdraw you pay for what you used (see --help)
```
The [global flags](/docs/reference/cli/#global-flags) work with this command too.
